In a refreshing encounter on Sunday, a young and spirited Impiger Technologies team beat Coca Cola in the Chennai Super Kings Super Cup multi-sports tournament at Chennai.

Chasing a modest Coca Cola total of 116, Impiger Technologies coasted to a win with one ball to spare. The winning boundary came off Ganesh Khanna’s bat.

Sivabalan bagged the man of the match award with four for 23 and 29 runs. He was supported by Sudalai Kasi who scored 20 valuable runs.

Earlier, the team effected two run outs to put the brakes on Coca Cola’s middle order. Backed by good captaincy and excellent fielding, the team pushed ahead with Arun Kumar anchoring the middle order to see the team through.

In the end, the opposition was left sipping Coke while Impiger Technologies celebrated!
